Just a couple weeks ago my best friend came for a visit. We always have way too much fun when we are together. Naturally we had to have a little photo shoot with all of the cactus that populate Arizona.
We like our hair best when it is curly.
With such a minty dress neutral accessories suit the outfit.

Here in Arizona things are warming up and I am so excited to be able to wear pastels.
I wanted to mix things up with my floral skirt so I wore a frilly thin stripe blouse and a light cropped cardigan.
The accessories for this outfit are also springy. I love pearls, so that was easy and the flower purse was a fun touch.

Shoes: Target, Skirt: Made by me, Blouse & Bracelet: Forever 21, Cardigan: Maurices, Purse: Charming Charlies, Ring: Downeast Outfitters
I am excited to get to wear more clothes from my spring wardrobe.
Cheers to dressing springy!

Hey everyone, today is Wednesday and I actually remembered! So Wear it Which Way Wednesday is here. Vote for your favorite outfit and comment on why you like which outfit best. Last week the outfits in question tied so I guess they were equally great. Thanks to everyone who participated last week and this week!
Have a fabulous Wednesday!
What to wear, what to wear?! I had about eight outfits picked out for Valentine’s day, but I decided on this little diddy. We went to Romeo and Juliet the ballet so I wanted to look classy without overdoing the red and pink for Valentine’s day.
A fun black dress with a pop of red in the high heels did just the trick for our night out on the town.
Ruffles are romantic! and well…pearls are just a necessity for me. That is how this little outfit came together.
Shoes: Target, Dress: JC Penney, Earrings: Gifted, Bracelets: Forever 21
My date looked pretty dapper if I don’t say so myself!
Happy belated Valentine’s day.
To the man that makes my heart go pitter patter. I am so blessed to have you as my husband. I am thanking my lucky stars that we are together. Thank you for being the rock by my side for this crazy adventure we call life. I love you to the moon and back time infinity plus one!
I wish you all a very, very happy Valentine’s day. I hope it is spent with people that you love, that love you!
The hardest thing for me to decide today is what to wear for our flashy night out on the town. Sooo many options. I might be wearing pink and red the rest of the week!
In case you were wanting to know more about the history of V-day, read on:
St. Valentine’s Day began as a liturgical celebration of one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus. The most popular martyrology associated with Saint Valentine was that he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire; during his imprisonment, he is said to have healed the daughter of his jailer Asterius. Legend states that before his execution he wrote “from your Valentine” as a farewell to her.
…how romantic!
Cheers to love.
Here we go again. Wear it Which Way is hear already. Vote for which ever outfit you like best. I love reading your comments about why you chose which outfit.
The winning outfit from last week is below. Thanks to everyone who participated!
Happy Wednesday!
It happened again today. I blushed, and I blushed deep and good. You may or may not notice that in my bio I include the statement “I blush way too much”. I am not kidding. I really do and sometimes over the stupidist things (yes, I know that stupidist is not a “real” word- it just makes the word that much better).
Today I had the opportunity to blush like you wouldn’t believe. It wasn’t one of those rosy cheek sort of blushes. It was a red as a tomato face blush- or a “oh my gosh your face is on fire” sort of blush. Thankfully all blushes must come to an end, and life went on. And I laughed about it.
I don’t know why I catch on fire when I feel too many eyes looking at me- but I do. And when something like this happens you have two options: you laugh or you cry. Needless to say- I choose laughing almost always. And while I wish I was a blushing beauty, I am definitely more of a flaming tomato.
Dress: Made by me! (pattern work and all) Shoes: Payless, Necklace: local boutique
Cheers to blushing and not caring a dime what others care.
Happy Tuesday!
