Shoes: JC Penney, Dress: BCBG, Blazer/Belt: Forever21, Necklace: Charming Charlie, Watch: Amazon, Bracelets: Icings
Is it really already Monday? This weekend flew by and my body did not want to wake up this morning. I have a big week a head of me. All I can think about is that this Friday I have to conduct a meeting with all of the sourcing managers in Walmart…no pressure right? I can do this…hopefully.
Moving on to the outfit…this is my first time wearing strait black with cognac color. I put my shoes on and my huzbind was all like, “Uhhh, can you do that? I thought that was a fashion no” Well it probably is a fashion no, but rules are made to be broken so here it goes. I am still not sure if I love it, and I think it is because its black, cognac, and gray. I think I would like this look better if I did not have the gray blazer with it. But anyhow- here’s to taking risks and going outside comfort zones.
Also for those of you who are like me and have mispronounced cognac your entire life please read below:
the incorrect pronunciation of cognac: (cog-nack)
the correct pronunciation of cognac = (cone-EEE-ack)
Keep on practicing! and I hope your Monday is a happy one.

I love the color combo, very pretty!
It’s definitely not a Fashion No!
Browns and Blacks are both neutrals. You can definitely mix two neutrals.
There is even an outfit on the Devil Wears Prada movie where she wears a black dress, black tights and cognac boots. Love it.
Super cute! Don’t lose the blazer, I think it really pulls the look together. New follower, love the blog!
I need your help… how did you make your blog button?????
P.s. I love the shoes I need some!
I love this look! I’m such a fan of black and cognac together. I think it’s very classic and chic.
